Well, to differentiate, even numbers can be divided evenly into groups of two. Meanwhile, odd numbers can’t be divided into groups of two as they can’t be matched in pairs. Other trick that can be used to determine odd and even numbers is that even numbers always end with digit of 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 while odd numbers always end with 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9.
